NeW National Conference (Pt. I)
This
past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Network of enlightened Women’s
National Conference in Washington, D.C. I spent 28 hours traveling in order to
spend 42 hours in D.C. (more like 24 to 30 ratio if you don’t include sleep),
and totally crashed on this end, but it was worth it to hear from some of the
sharpest women in politics.
Over
the course of 1.5 days, we had 17 speakers, including three panels, and an
intra-party debate. This doesn’t even include the leadership training on Saturday,
which I did not attend because of time constraints. I joked with a fellow
attendee after dismissal on Friday that I could use a whole blank week
afterward to process all of the ideas and concepts I had learned in just a day
and half. So you all, good blog readers, will be getting a taste of that. I’ll
be trying to process and understand my day and half deep-dive into conservative
politics here on the blog while normal life keeps running by.
Be
sure to follow along to hear my thoughts on talks from conservative women like
Kellyanne Conway (Counselor to the President), Rebecca Kleefisch (Lt Governor
of Wisconsin), and Karin Agness Lips (the founder of the Network of enlightened
Women). I would love to hear your thoughts about any of my writings and
appreciate any new perspective I can gain from others.
